WE NEED HELP – THIS IS OUR SOS – PLEASE DONATE AND SHARE LIKE CRAZY

Dear Loyal followers, it pains me to write this to you today but we are in trouble. Serious trouble. This is our SOS, our plea for your urgent help. We need to raise at least $100,000 to make sure we can continue to remain at our current location and to cope with the rising costs of feed etc that we are currently facing.

It’s serious and to be honest, if we can’t raise the $100,000 we will probably have to close. Our rent has increased significantly over the last little while placing us in this situation. We’ve been thinking about what our other options are and to be honest, we’ve come to the conclusion that this is our base and it would be too hard to relocate all the pelicans and birds. We’ve built the infrastructure, the know-how here. It’s been  our life for so many years and to re-locate would just be too hard. Especially with the ongoing health concerns for Twinnies.

We’re asking you to chip in to saved Twinnies. Quite literally. We can’t bear to think about the other outcome but without this funding we won’t be able to maintain our presence. Our birds need us more than ever. They really do. The calls keep coming and it’s our promise that we will be there, night and day for them in their time of need. We just will be.

On top of this is the cost for feed for the pelicans and birds. Like everything else it has just skyrocketed in price meaning our weekly shops cost much more than ever.

Tonight, we are desperate. It’s our SOS. Our urgent call for your help to save Twinnies. Quite literally.

Just $5 from each and every one of you would get us to our goal. It’s the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help us guarantee that we can continue doing what we do best to the pelicans and birds that need us more than ever.
