Help Save Twinnies Pelicans

HELP SAVE TWINNIES PELICANS – DONATIONS NEEDED – PLEASE SHARE

It’s pretty grim out there and tonight we need your urgent help. We really need donations to keep us going. To keep us being able to do what we do best. Save pelicans and birds.

The last few months have been tough. That’s an understatement. Bushfires and now COVID-19 means that our donations have really reduced. Actually, they have stopped. On top of that, we have not been allowed to have volunteers which has made things so tough. Near impossible for our small team.

We’ve tried hard. The calls for help keep on coming but it’s been really difficult without the funding. We were put on this planet to rescue. To rescue and rehabilitate pelicans and birds that urgently needed help. We’ve tred our best.

I’m sure most of you remember. Rob was hatched from an abandoned egg we found near the water’s edge on our back dam.  The egg was cold so we looked at each other and without thinking twice we brought the egg up too our intensive care room and placed it in the incubator and 6 days later we had a pelican hatchling. We were very excited and really couldn’t believe what we had accomplished.. He’s become our resident and is loved by all who meet him.

We’ve also had a lot of pelicans come in with botulism over the past few weeks. We know what to do, it’s in our blood… However, without the adequate funding we just can’t keep on going like we are.

We want to be able to answer every call for help but we are stressing. We’ve really tried to hard to not ask you for help but we need help right here right now.

If we could reach $30,000 tonight that will allow us to pay all of our bills and have some room to be able to take in those pelicans and birds that need our help over the next little while. We know the calls will continue to come in and we need your help tonight to make sure we have the funding in place to answer every single one of them.

Just $5 from each and every one of you would get us over the line. It’s just the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will make sure that our organization can survive the tough times at present and save more lives.

We receive no government funding so you are our lifeline tonight
